??Welcome again, I'm El Sepu<\/strong> and today we are going to talk about friends who I met in Peru. They belong to a Peruvian scooterists club and they share many passions with me, including motorcycles. We are a big community and I would like you to know them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

??How to Start? When I started this trip around South America, my first country to visit was Peru, in the southern border of Ecuador. I have to admit that I was very nervous about adventuring into the unknown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lima, Peru's Capital<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
??Everything started when I got in Peru. I reached them by social media, way earlier before getting to Lima. We kept in touch while I travelled through Peru and they kept an eye on how many kilometers until Lima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
??Todo comenz\u00f3 cuando llegu\u00e9 a Peru, nosotros empezamos a estar en contacto por redes sociales ( de la \u00e9poca) estos desconocidos, estaba pendientes de los kil\u00f3metros que yo recorr\u00eda, por el norte de Peru hasta llegar a Lima, la capital de este pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

?? Unfortunately, when I finally got to Lima La Balita<\/strong> (my motorcycle) eventually broke down. The clutch wire broke apart and it was hard to replace it in the middle of the city. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

?? de hecho cuando llegu\u00e9 a esta ciudad, empezaron las an\u00e9cdotas pues la balita tuvo una falla leve, hasta que eventualmente se rompi\u00f3 el cable de embrague, lo cual me dejo en un barrio sin poder moverla con todo el peso que llevaba, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Peruvian Scooterists to the rescue!<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
??Lucky for me, my new Peruvian scooterists friends came to my rescue. One of them called ‘Beto' took me to a workshop called “El Chino's” garage, where the mechanic fixed it quickly, and it was just the beginning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

?? After the fix, Lima was very very fun. With my new Peruvian scooterists friends, we rode across all the city. Mariano, Eduardo, Fabian were the hosts since they welcomed me at their houses so I could have a great time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
??Lima una ciudad super divertida en compa\u00f1\u00eda de este grupo de personas agradables, de hecho Mariano, Eduardo, Fabian me recibieron en diferentes momentos en sus casas, dej\u00e1ndome en ellas como si fueran m\u00edas,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
?? I remember Mariano saying “You can stay at my house, I'll be back in four days because I going surfing at the north”. Eduardo showed me the city and taught me details about how to fix La Balita<\/strong>. Fabian had a room in his house for me and he showed me with enthusiasm all of his bikes to ride around. These three guys were very kind and gentle with me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Contact with Peruvian Scooterists<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
??I met so many Peruvian scooterists enthusiasts and they were always keeping an eye for me. This way, enjoying the city was easier with their company. Also, they sponsored me and helped me to get the front grill for La Balita<\/strong> and it was easier, safer and more comfortable for it to carry my luggage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hanging around in Lima<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
??Lima was an unexpected joyful experience to me. This was the first scooterist club that I contacted and they ended up supported me. Furthermore, they showed me that they really love riding scooters, feel the air and enjoy this wonderful city that offers a lot:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

??<\/em><\/strong> Lima fue una sorpresa inesperada, pues este grupo de personas eran el primer grupo de scooteristas que me recib\u00edan, me apoyaban y bueno sin duda no solo eso, ellos me mostraron su amor por las motocicletas, me mostraron su amor por salir a rodar en sus motos, el hecho de disfrutar de esta ciudad hermosa, llena de lugares hermosos e hist\u00f3ricos, fant\u00e1sticos miradores al mar, playas diferentes ( para mi) con piedras redondas que generaban un sonido francamente hipnotizante…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

??Girls in Lima are beautiful. The night in this capital it's great because there are good places to share socially, drink, dance and above all the food.. the FOOD!!! The plates are just delicious, with recipes of seafood or meat. Only then I truly understood why Peruvian food is worldwide famous. It earns such prize, really!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

??<\/em><\/strong>Las chicas de Lima son hermosas, las noches de esta capital son geniales, buenos lugares para compartir una bebida, fant\u00e1sticos lugares para salir de baile, uff y la comida… \u00a1la comida! fue espectacular, deliciosos platos con alimentos marinos, con carnes, solo ah\u00ed pude entender el porqu\u00e9 la comida peruana es tan famosa a nivel mundial, y \u00a1vaya que lo tiene muy bien ganado! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I called back, the Peruvian scooterists answered…<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
??Saying thanks wasn't enough. They received me, not only once but twice. The first time, when I was heading south towards Chile, and again when I was heading back towards Ecuador, one year later<\/span>. In both occasions, I felt like I was at home. I consider them friends and probably you too, my dear reader. Enjoy the pictures as much as I do because you will feel its energy. That's why these Peruvian scooterists clubs, Lambrespas<\/a><\/strong>, Scooter Cl\u00e1sicos Per\u00fa<\/a><\/strong> and Vespa Club Per\u00fa<\/a><\/strong>, became friends of this South American Nomad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
