?? My first day riding was very difficult because there were so many emotions in conflict with each other. I was geting my bike ready, while I had to say goodbye to my comfort zone and say goodbye to my family. My mother and sister joined me in the ride of the first 80Km, as well as some friends like Ana, Juditova, Pepe, Lucy, Inel, El Topo. All together came to say goodbye. In my life, I have crossed this road many many times before. But in this case, it was very different and there was something special. ??At the same time I was leaving the Highlands, I was feeling the warm climate. I was riding very comfortable and suddenly there was a lot of fog. This is pretty common in the roads of Ecuador and I knew this would eventually happen. It began to rain and complicated the trip even further. I decided to stop and put on my \u201crain clothes\u201d. It was a cheap, terrible and yellow rubber pants and jacket. Unfortunately, I didn't last long.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the Mountains to the Coast<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
??When I arrived at the coast, it was very hot. The city that I visited was Machala, one of the biggest city\u2019s in Ecuador. It is known as the \u201cWorld's Capital of Banana\u201d. The seafood it's outstanding, with nice people to talk to. One friend of mine, “Shephard” received me at his students' house with other friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

??En los d\u00edas en Machala fui invitado a acudir a un diario que se entero del incipiente periplo gracias a una nota<\/a> realizada por un diario en Cuenca, claro que estaba nervioso, el reportero preguntando \u00bfel c\u00f3mo ? \u00bfcuando donde y por que ?, y el usual para esos d\u00edas \u00bfestas seguro? y bueno al final si estaba seguro.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">??Machala is 70Km away from the border with Peru. The last border city is called Huaquillas. In the last day, I got up early. I prepared <strong>La Balita<\/strong> and I said goodbye again in order to continue with the adventure. That morning my heart was beating strong, because of the emotion or maybe the heat or because of the fact that the journeys begins. <strong>La Balita<\/strong> was very comfortable and it makes me confident. I bought the newspaper\u2019s at the gas station and I saw myself on it. This was tremendously surprising and it made me happy. It was a pretty nice moment as we were all crying of happiness, it was the beginning of the Sudamerica Nomad. Documents, please<\/h3>\n\n\n\n?? This day was emotionally intensive because my friends and I were riding and taking some pictures, enjoying the landscape from Cuenca to Yunguilla and of course the company of each other. Suddenly, a police officer stopped us and asked for documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
