??We need to talk about the immigration process. You need to do some paperwork before you can enter in other countries. First, you need to have your and your bike's documents up to date in your country of origin. After that, there are two \u201clittle processes\u201d that you need to do before crossing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n??Paso a paso para cruzar la frontera; primero que nada t\u00fa necesitas realizar el proceso de inmigraci\u00f3n, para eso tienes que tener los tus documentos y los de de tu moto en regla en tu pa\u00eds de origen, y luego empezaremos con un \u201cpeque\u00f1o proceso\u201d que debes cumplir antes de cruzar…<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\nStep by step to cross the border of Peru.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
?? First, show your passport at the immigration office in Ecuadorian side ??. Seal the exit and then go to Peruvian side ??, to seal it again and be ready for a small talk. They will ask you a few questions that, in my particular case, were: Really? You are traveling in that thing?<\/strong> ( referring to La Balita<\/strong>), then a little nice conversation and they say \u201cYou have got 90 days to stay in this country. Welcome!\u201d. <\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n??Primero mostrar tu pasaporte o documento en inmigraci\u00f3n de Ecuador para realizar la salida, luego mostrar el mismo documento para recibir el sello en este caso en migraci\u00f3n peruana, una peque\u00f1a conversaci\u00f3n y las t\u00edpica pregunta \u00bfen eso est\u00e1s viajando?, una peque\u00f1a conversaci\u00f3n acerca de los motivos del viaje, un poquito de risas y luego de eso el oficial me dijo \u201cbienvenido a Per\u00fa tienes 90 d\u00edas para estar en el pa\u00eds\u201deste es el proceso que hay que hacer para las personas.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n??Second, you need to go (at the Ecuadorian side) to Customs and then the person will check your bags (or maybe not) and then check your bike's documents. The same process goes for Ecuadorian ?? customs and for Peruvian ?? customs. The vehicle enters to the country as \u201cprovisional importation\u201d and you can use it as long as the permission you got as a person. Again, a few laughters and good vibes from the officers and now you\u2019re ready!!! BUT NO!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
