Algunos amigos organizaron en una discoteca bar local una “Fiesta Latina” con 100% m\u00fasica Reggaeton, donde alguna pocas historias divertidas (y preocupantes) ocurrieron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How this got started<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

?? Weeks ago, I went with my girlfriend Saeli to an event called Ankaralingo<\/a> in a disco-bar-restaurant called Zaytung Zone<\/a>, located in Ankara, Turkey<\/a>. There are meetings that take place every saturday with one purpose only: Meet new foreigner friends. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Need for a “Latin Party” was conceived…<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

?? On November 9, 2019, I met a few people: Turks, Russians, Germans and Latin Americans who were living in Turkey at that time. One Peruvian guy called Pablo, was living for 9 years already! There we talked of course about Latin America and several differences with Turkey. A few weeks later, the idea of a latin party emerged!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

?? El 9 de noviembre de 2019, conoc\u00ed alguna gente: Turcos, Rusos, Alemanes y Latinos que viv\u00edan en Turqu\u00eda en ese entonces. \u00a1Un peruano llamado Pablo vive ah\u00ed hace 9 a\u00f1os! Ah\u00ed hablamos de Am\u00e9rica Latina por supuesto, y algunas diferencia con Turqu\u00eda. Unas semanas m\u00e1s tardes, \u00a1la idea de la fiesta latina emergi\u00f3!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reggaeton Disclaimer<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

?? I have to confess this right away, before I even start. Reggaeton is not a music that I like to hear<\/strong>, neither alone nor with a group of people. Many of the lyrics are empty of meaning, often vulgar themed, they lack respect to women and many are annoyingly repetitive (less than Techno music but still). But you know:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

?? Debo confesar de una vez, incluso antes de empezar. Reggaeton no es una m\u00fasica que me gusta o\u00edr, <\/strong>ni s\u00f3lo ni con grupo de gente. Muchas de las letras son vac\u00eda de significado, algunas vulgares, sin el m\u00ednimo respecto a mujeres y muchas son repetitivamente cansonas (menos que m\u00fasica Techno pero igual) Pero t\u00fa sabes<\/p>\n\n\n\n
